Thanks for the fish

Laid down for a few minutes and fell asleep for 2 hours. My body’s not used to all this work. I’ve been going since about 9 am. I love summer! spring… whatever. Did some weeding. My fingers are raw. Finished staining the window boxes..they just need a coat of tung oil and they’re going up. Have some wood brackets but they’re too big, and I don’t really feel like sanding/staining anything else! So I’m gonig to look for some unobtrusive metal ones.

Aren’t they pretty?

Was sitting on the ground on the gravel path trying to get the clover out from between the irish moss and I turned around and our little fowl bird thing was standing there staring at me. I jumped up, screamed and stumbled backyards and she just stared and clucked. I went in to get the camera and she was wandering around the yard. So I sat back down, starting weeding and she came right up to me again. I like her. But not that close. I took some photos but they didn’t come out very well.

Planted my grandmother’s calla lillies. There were about 30 of them. Don’t even know what color they are. They were already sprouting in the box. Didn’t get around to pruning my roses or dividing the perennials for the yard sale. Too tired now. J saw a tornado on the pond. I was standing in the front yard and it suddenly got really windy. I was looking up at the trees. He said it went across the pond and back again. I wish I’d seen it.

I’m so happy in the spring. Happy and tired. And sore. Have both songs memorized for the recital. One month to go.

That last post was a bit of a mistake, but whatever. Now I’m back in hiding. The state’s biggest newspaper wants to do a story about something I wrote on my other blog. HA! Yeah, and then 2 posts later I’m talking about masturbating. Sure, post my name, photo, and phone number. Not! What do I look like MissLonelyGirl824? Sigh… what’s a girl got to do to get a little anonymity around here? I just want to be myself, tell the truth and not be judged. Well you can judge me if you want, but I don’t know you and don’t care.

The interesting news is that I may make the paper after all. We’ll see! Ok, here are the lessons I’ve learned about maintaining your anonymity/keeping a low profile online. Some may be obvious, but well… you know.

1. Don’t mention people in your circle by name. Especially if they have a freak name.

2. Don’t link to high profile websites. Especially ones that are hard to find because the people setting them up don’t know what they’re doing.

3. Don’t post pictures of yourself. Especially not naked ones. (No, I’m kidding… I never did that… : )  )

4. Don’t give nosy parkers a way of finding you.
