He’s got some interesting things to say about Russia (and America) too. Russia’s slowly replacing Africa for me as my new source of fascination.
Got some movies for tonight… Little Children…loved the book, love Kate Winslet. Last King of Scotland…love love love Forest Whitaker (and Africa…still), and Pirates of the Caribbean (my guilty pleasure).

Ooh… speaking of hustlers… we almost bought a pool table today. We have a bunch of pine planks from a tree we cut down to build the house (gorgeous gorgeous tree, which by the way, I think could have stayed). So we’re making plans to finish the basement and I’d like to have some sort of rough pine planks and make it a “saloon.” ha! I’ve got my Camel cigarette dart board that I’ve carried with me for the last 15 years, and, of course, a wet bar… $800 pool table for sale, but we passed it up. : ( Well, movie time.
